Monday's weather offers good mountain hiking conditions, the Mountain Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross told BTA.

Temperatures range between 5C and 12C. Fog is reported in higher parts of the Balkan Range, while at lower elevations there is broken cloud. In some places the ground is wet due to overnight rain, and more showers are possible during the day.

Hikers are advised to take into account the changed autumn conditions, the Service said.  

On Sunday, a tourist suffered a massive heart attack at the Seven Rila Lakes and an air ambulance was dispatched to fly him to hospital.
