Kaloyan “Kokimoto” Iliev will present a solo exhibition featuring paintings, sculptures, drawings, and collages at Sofia’s One Gallery from April 1 to 24, according to the organizers.

Regarding the exhibition, the artist shares, “In a reality where the best of my illusions have taken on diverse and exotic cultural and ethnic forms, paired with popular influences from our consumer world, muses take shape. These are not just my own illusions of freedom, gender equality, and tolerance towards the religious denominations we live with. These illusions live in each one of us, and that is why we all share these muses.”

Kaloyan “Kokimoto” Iliev was born on January 19, 1979, in Varna, on the Black Sea. He holds a master's degree in arts pedagogy from the St Cyril and St Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo and has specialized in graphic arts. Iliev also trained in the Graphic Art Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, Poland. He is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists.
