Military History Museum Hosts Art Exhibition of Pieces with Anti-War Message

The theme of war and art is the focus of In War's Shadow, a temporary exhibition at the National Museum of Military History in Sofia. The exhibition will be open until the end of January 2025, the organizers said.

The museum will present pieces by prominent Bulgarian artists such as Alexandar Mutafov, Boris Denev, Vladimir Dimitrov – The Master, Georgi Mashev, Ivan Valchanov, Konstantin Shtarkelov, Nikola Kozhuharov, Nikola Tanev, Rayko Aleksiev, Stoyan Raynov. Its website reads: "Their works overflow with the pain and the sores of war; they are a cry for peace and love for and between people. They say no to war in many ways."
