The awards ceremony for Best Feature Film of the CineLibri film festival for adaptations will take place on October 25, in Hall 1 of the NDK convention centre in the presence of the international jury including Maria Bakalova (President), Christine Leunens, Daniel Kehlmann, Ann Cusack and Ignacio Serricchio, the CineLibri team announced.

During the ceremony, the winner of the Best Documentary Competition will be announced by a jury composed of Rene Karabash, Bozhidar Manov and Nayo Ticin.

The ceremony will be followed by a screening of Pedro Almodóvar's first English-language film, The Room Next Door, awarded the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival. 

New Zealand-Belgian writer Christine Leunens will personally present her latest novel, In Amber's Wake, an emotional and compelling story of love, loss, obsession and destructive choices intertwined with seismic political events. The event is on October 23.

The German writer Daniel Kehlmann is an honorary jury member in the main competition. The novelist, playwright, poet, publicist and actor will present in Sofia his new novel, Lichtspiel. The event will be held at the Goethe-Institut in Sofia on October 24.
