Renowned AI professor Zico Kolter is expected to deliver a public lecture at Sofia University, invited by the Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Technology, the Ministry of Education and Science said in a press release on Monday. This event is part of an initiative to connect global leaders with the Bulgarian student, tech and science community.

Kolter is a leading global expert in artificial intelligence and a board member of OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT. He is also a professor at Carnegie Mellon University in the United States, where he heads the machine learning department. Additionally, he co-founded Gray Swan, a deep-tech startup focused on secure artificial intelligence.

The lecture will unveil the latest advancements in the security of large language models (LLMs), including methods that significantly improve the resilience of LLMs against malicious attacks.
