site.btaAustralia's David Dower Trio Formation and Brazilian Will Sant to Perform at Jazz in Burgas Festival
The Jazz in Burgas Festival will be held between July 11 and 13 at the Flora Exhibition Centre in the seaside city, said the organizers on Monday. The festival will offer the audience a series of concerts as Bulgarian and foreign artists will be guests, including the Australian formation David Dower Trio and the young Brazilian musician Will Sant.
Miroslava Katsarova, together with the string quartet Perfect, will open the festival as she will present her latest concert programme called Paloma. After that, the Australian group David Dower Trio will perform on stage as part of the fifth tour of the group, which recorded all of their three albums in Bulgaria. The latest is titled Ant and features collaborations with a Bulgarian folk choir.
On July 12, the project Multilingual by Georgia Pavlova, Ilko Gradev, Vladi Mihailov and Stoil Ivanov will take to the stage, presenting their love songs in 17 languages. After them, Dimitar Karamfilov's trio will perform songs from their second studio album Turn to Love from 2021.
The closing of the festival on July 13 will feature young Brazilian musician Will Sant. His appearance in the seaside city is part of his current European tour dedicated to the famous musician Joao Gilberto and the 60th anniversary of the release of his album Getz/Gilberto. The audience will also be able to hear the performances of the Martin Markov Trio.
The Jazz in Burgas Festival is organized by Burgas Municipality.
