Days of Indian Culture to Take Place in Five Bulgarian Cities August 15-24

Days of Indian Culture will take place in five Bulgarian cities - Sofia (August 15 and 19), Veliko Tarnovo (August 16), Varna (August 17), Burgas (August 18), and Plovdiv (August 24), the organizers told BTA.

Two of the most famous Indian classical dance performers, Lina Malakar Vij (Kathak dancer) and Sharmila Mukherjee (Odissi dancer), will participate in the event.

The Days of Indian Culture in Bulgaria are organized by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, the Embassy of India in Bulgaria, the East-West Indological Foundation, and the Sofia-based Association India. The municipalities of the host cities are co-partners of the event.
