site.btaTwo Parties Fail to Submit Financial Statements to Audit Office in Required Deadline

A total of 126 political forces submitted their annual financial statements and lists of donors for 2024 to the Bulgarian National Audit Office (BNAO), meeting the required deadline stipulated by the Political Parties Act, BNAO said here on Friday. The accounts have been published on the institution's website.

Two parties have not submitted financial statements: Impartial Candidates Movement and Citizens' Bulgaria Movement. The fine for not submitting them and for submitting them after the required deadline amounts to BGN 5,000-10,000.

The BNAO has started working on its annual audit of the financial activities, revenues, expenditures and management of the allocated property of political parties that received a State subsidy, used State or municipal-owned premises allocated to them and participated in elections during the previous year, the press release added.
