No Bulgarian Citizens Reported among Kocani Fire Victims, Foreign Ministry Says

At present, there are no reports of Bulgarian citizens injured in the tragic incident in the town of Kocani, Republic of North Macedonia, which killed dozens of young people and injured many others, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Sunday.

The Bulgarian Embassy in Skopje is in constant contact with the Macedonian authorities and continues to monitor the situation. Bulgarian citizens can contact the Embassy if they need assistance.

A total of 51 people were killed in a nightclub fire in Kocani, North Macedonia, early on Sunday, and more than 100 were injured, Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski said at a press conference in Kocani broadcast by the Media Information Agency (MIA).
