Vice President Iliana Iotova, who attended the opening of the new academic year for the National Vocational High School for Computer Technologies and Systems in Pravets on Monday, addressed the students there saying that the future lies in their successes.

Iotova said that Bulgaria is the only country in the world to celebrate the beginning of the school year so much, to the point where Bulgarians greet each other with "Happy holiday!" every year on September 15. She said that education and enlightenment have been elevated to a cult across the country.

The Vice President stated: "When it comes to modern computer technologies, all Bulgarians know that this is where the rise of this education began in Bulgaria, precisely from the National Vocational High School for Computer Technologies and Systems." She said that choosing to study in this school marks the beginning of its students' future successes.

Iotova said: "It would be hard to imagine today's world without computers, without phones, laptops, tablets, but the fact is, you are the people who will make these technologies even more perfect, even more advanced tomorrow. That is to say, without exaggerating, our future lies in your success, dear children."
