A new interactive media studio for creating audio and video content opened its doors in Kazanlak on Tuesday. Knews Studio envisages the creation of various media formats such as podcasts and videocasts, as well as radio broadcasts on various topics, affecting both Kazanlak and the region, as well as the whole country, said its creator Ivan Dimov.

The studio is a continuation of the activities of the information platform Knews.bg and the online radio Knews Radio, which was created in 2023. The possibilities of the studio are extremely diverse, and the idea is to create audio and video content in line with the new trends in the media in terms of technology, said Dimov. "I think it's time to fully comply with world trends," he noted and added that the place is equipped with the latest generation equipment.

Dimov noted that not all modern media provide enough space for discussions on important topics, and it is precisely this type of studios that can provide the opportunity and increase transparency. "I think that it is the media that bear a huge responsibility to society and must conscientiously and in the best way fulfill their role as an intermediary between people and institutions. Our goal is to be even more objective and even more open to people," Dimov pointed out. "We have the technical ability to connect the residents of the city with all those residents of the region who live outside the country, which is an extremely important step in creating a community," he said.

The official opening was attended by Kazanlak Mayor Galina Stoyanova and Deputy Mayor Srebra Kaseva, Gurkovo Mayor Kancho Papazov, Deputy Regional Governor Petko Karagitliev, MP Iliana Zhekova, municipal councilours, representatives of the local administration, cultural institutes, schools, the 61st Stryamska Mechanized Brigade, as well as representatives of local enterprises and media.
