site.btaPolice Officers in Petrich Region Find Over One Ton of Cannabis Plants

About 320 cannabis plants with a total weight of over one ton were found on Wednesday in Petrich Region, said the Regional Directorate of the Interior Ministry in Blagoevgrad. 

In the course of a specialized police operation in a deforested area near the village of Strumeshnitsa police officers also found two video surveillance cameras and an irrigation system. 

A 56-year-old man from the village of Dolna Krusitsa was arrested as an accomplice to the crime and a pre-trial proceeding has been initiated.
