About 150 hectares of forest are on fire near the border with Romania, Darin Dimitrov, Director Fire Safety and Protection of the Population Regional Service in Dobrich, told BTA. The fire is on the territory of the General Toshevo Municipality in the land of the village of Loznitsa.

Teams from  the fire department, foresters, volunteers and farmers with equipment are on the spot and are working to put it out. Due to the strong and constantly changing direction of the wind, it is difficult to localize the fire, Dimitrov said, adding that the firefighters are also trying to limit the flames from crossing the border, since there is a reserve on the territory of Romania, which is difficult to pass.
