site.btaState-owned Motorway Company Ordered to Join Fire Suppression Efforts

The state-owned Avtomagistrali motorway company has been ordered by Regional Development Minister Violeta Koritarova to join the fire suppression efforts, the Ministry said Wednesday.

The water companies across Bulgaria will also join them. They will sent equipment to areas with scarce water resources.

The Minister is coordinating the efforts of the regional structures.

She called on the construction businesses to support the fire-fighting efforts where needed, and send equipment, in coordination with the Interior Ministry. 

All structures of the Regional Development Ministry have been put on standby to react.
