Ivaylo Valchev of There Is Such a People (TISP) has been elected on the bureau of the European Conservatives and Reformists Group in the European Parliament during a constituent assembly of the group in Sicily, TISP said.

TISP said that the party has become part of the presiding body of the third largest group in the European Parliament, which consists of right, patriotic and conservative European parties.

The centre-right group of European Conservatives and Reformists elected as its co-chairmen Nicola Procaccini (Fratelli d’Italia, Italy) and Joachim Brudzinski (PiS, Poland.

On June 19, TISP announced that it was accepted into the European Conservatives and Reformists Group in the European Parliament. As his main tasks Valchev outlined the preservation of Europe's traditional values, the promotion of right-wing policies that would lead to economic prosperity, as well as the protection of the EU's external borders.
