site.btaBulgarian Defence Ministry Advisory on Movement of Troops, Military Hardware over National Road Infrastructure
A military formation of the Bulgarian Armed Forces Convoys is scheduled to join the Operational Reserve Force of the NATO Kosovo Force (KFOR) in the last week of May and first week of June, the Defence Ministry said Monday. In connection with that, a convoy of troops and military hardware of the contingent will be transported along the national road infrastructure from Blagoevgrad (Southwestern Bulgaria) to the Gyueshevo Checkpoint (on Bulgaria's border with North Macedonia). The convoy will be escorted by teams of the Military Police.
After the upcoming deployment, the Bulgarian contribution in KFOR will increase to over 250 personnel.
