site.btaSyrian Charged with Hooliganism in Sofia after Brandishing Knife, Chasing Passersby

The Sofia District Prosecutor's Office has charged a Syrian citizen with committing acts of hooliganism, the prosecuting magistracy reported in a press release Monday.

The man was arrested in the early hours of May 26 in Sofia's Lyulin resdiential district for brandishing a knife, throwing concrete debris and chasing random people on the street. 

The man has been convicted in the past. Given the possibility of him committing another crime, the suspect has been detained for up to 72 hours.
