site.btaPresident, Vice President to Attend May 24 Celebrations

President Rumen Radev and Vice President Iliana Iotova will attend celebrations on occasion of May 24 - Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian Alphabet, Education and Culture, and of Slavic Literature. 

President Rumen Radev will participate in the official celebrations in Sofia.  

At 10.30 a.m. in front of the building of the presidential institution, the Head of State will join a solemn procession on the occasion. At 11.00 a.m. the President will participate in the official ceremony in front of the National Library. He will deliver a speech and lay flowers at the monument to the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius. At 11.40 a.m. the President will view the documentary exhibition dedicated the 200th anniversary of the publication of Dr. Petar Beron's Fish Primer.

At 6.30 p.m. at the National Museum of History in Sofia, Head of State Rumen Radev and his wife, Desislava Radeva, will host the traditional reception on the occasion of the Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian Alphabet, Education and Culture, and of Slavic Literature

Vice President Iliana Iotova will be in the town of Chepelare together with the residents and guests. The festive parade starts at 11.00 am.
