President Rumen Radev and Caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev greeted Bulgarians on Eastern Orthodox Easter with posts on their Facebook profiles.
"I wish health, peace and love in every Bulgarian home! May the light and joy of the greatest Christian holiday fill our hearts and thoughts and strengthen mutual understanding and tolerance in our society," Radev wrote on Easter Sunday.
On Easter, let us also wish each other faith and strength for worthy deeds in the testing life of the present day, which will lead to the spiritual awakening and unity of the whole nation, the Head of State said.
"Let us do it with the clear understanding and conviction that this is a duty and responsibility towards Bulgaria and the life and destiny of the next generations," Radev wrote.
"Let there be more light in homes and souls, humility and faith," read Galvchev's Easter post on Facebook.
