site.btaFour Candidates for National Assembly Chairperson, Again, No Changes in Nominations

The same four candidates have been nominated for the National Assembly chairperson’s seat.

Before the 30-minute break and consultations between the political parties, GERB-UDF reaffirmed the candidacy of Raya Nazaryan for the post. Temenuzhka Petkova from GERB-UDF called on the other political forces to show reason and responsibility, and to support Nazaryan. 

Vazrazhdane nominated Petar Petrov for the seventh time, while There Is Such a People remained firm in their support for Silvi Kirilov.

When the session resumed, Borislav Gutsanov of BSP - United Left said that the left-wing parties had made every effort to reach a consensus on a single candidate, but since the consultations were unsuccessful, BSP is once again nominating Natalia Kiselova.
