site.btaPresident to Hold Consultations with Parliamentary Groups on March 11-12 before Handing Mandate for Cabinet Formation

In keeping with the Constitution, President Rumen Radev will hold consultations with the parliamentary groups on March 11 and 12, said the President's Press Secretariat Thursday. The consultations precede the handing of an exploratory mandate for the formation of a cabinet.

At 9.30am on March 11, Monday, the President will meet with GERB-UDF, which is the largest group in the legislature. At 11.30am he will confer with the second-largest Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria followed by the Movement for Rights and Freedoms at 2pm.

On March 12, Tuesday, Radev will meet with Vazrazhdane (9.30am), BSP for Bulgaria (11.30am) and There Is Such a People (2pm).

On Wednesday, Parliament voted the resignation of the government of Nikolay Denkov (CC-DB) to open the door to rotation with GERB-UDF.
