site.btaSalaries of Magistrates and Court Officials Increase by 13%

The salaries of magistrates and court officials will be increased by 13%, the General Assembly of the Supreme Judicial Council and the Supreme Prosecutor's Council decided on Thursday. The increase was voted retroactively from January 1.

Thus, the salaries of the magistrates will start from about BGN 4,000 for the juniors and will reach nearly BGN 7,800 for magistrates in the Supreme Court, the Supreme Prosecutor's Office and the National Investigation Service.

With the voted decision, magistrates and employees will also have BGN 4,518 each for clothing. With the decision of the General Assembly, the rank remuneration was also increased to between BGN 410 and BGN 640.
