site.btaBulgaria and Moldova to Cooperate in Agriculture, Agrarian Science and Development of Rural Areas

The Council of Ministers approved a draft Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of agriculture and food between the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry of the Republic of Moldova.

In recent years, there has been a mutual desire between the two ministries to expand cooperation in the field of agriculture and food. With the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, a normative framework will be created for the future development of bilateral relations in the field of food safety, plant breeding, animal breeding, rural development, the viticulture sector and agrarian science.

The main purpose of concluding the Memorandum of Understanding is to deepen the cooperation between the two ministries through the exchange of information, the transfer of expertise and training, the introduction of new technologies in crop production, animal husbandry, viticulture and winemaking, technical and administrative cooperation.
