The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) has reported suspicions of corruption in four ministries of President Radev's caretaker offices: the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of e-Government, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, and the Ministry of Economy and Industry. This was announced by party leader Korneliya Ninova at a press conference at the BSP headquarters where a folder containing the alerts was distributed to media representatives.

“We have also reported, asked questions about two regional governors - of Sofia and Haskovo,” she said, adding that the alerts were about "abuse of public procurement with public funds, property scams".

The first signal was submitted in December 2022, and the last – on January 24, the BSP leader said. “We have not been waiting for Delyan Peevski to decide that there is corruption in the caretaker cabinets, we know what the order is,” she stressed.

Responding to a question, the BSP leader said they had no fear of "another party of President Rumen Radev". She believes however that he is preparing to announce a party of his own, especially after his words on Monday. This is yet another wrong move on his part and it is not right for a president to make a party while he is in office, Ninova added.
