site.btaBulgaria, Saudi Arabia to Cooperate in Higher Education, Scientific Research

The Council of Ministers approved a draft Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of science and education between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a basis for negotiations. Thus, for the first time, a normative framework for cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific research between the two countries will be established.

Direct scientific and educational relations between higher schools and scientific research organizations from the two countries will be strengthened, as will the the development of scientific research cooperation, mainly in the field of theoretical and applied research.

The Memorandum also provides for the exchange of good practices and information on education systems, as well as provides opportunities for academic cooperation, the purpose of which is to facilitate the mutual recognition of higher education acquired in one of the two countries.
