The conditions for hiking in the mountains are good on Saturday, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) told BTA. The weather is sunny, calm and clear.  

Temperatures in the Stara Planina region near Mount Botev are negative, down to minus 10C-12C, the MRS added. Mountain rescuers warn that because of the low temperatures there is a danger of freezing in the high parts of the mountain.

No incidents with tourists were recorded over the past 24 hours.
