site.btaBulgarian Deputy Foreign Minister, Polish State Secretary Discuss Topics on EU Agenda

Deputy Foreign Minister Elena Shekerletova received the Secretary of State at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pawel Jablonski here on Tuesday, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry said in a press release on Wednesday. Shekerletova and Jablonski discussed topics on the European agenda, such as the ongoing debate on EU institutional reforms and the European integration of the Western Balkans, Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia.

Jablonski confirmed Poland's support for Bulgaria's accession to the Schengen area as well as for Bulgaria's membership process in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.

In the course of the talks, the two sides agreed that the exchange of views on topics on the European agenda is of mutual interest and should continue. Shekerletova and Jablonski expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral cooperation in the economic, transport, education and cultural fields.
