site.btaParliament Adopts Procedure for Election of National Health Insurance Fund Deputy Governor
Parliament on Friday, adopted 131-52 the procedure for the nomination and election of a deputy governor of the National Health Insurance Fund.
Parliamentary groups can make nominations in writing to the parliamentary healthcare committee within three days of voting the rules.
The committee arranges an alphabetical list of selected candidates. They will be given a public hearing by the committee, which will be livestreamed. The open voting will be livestreamed too.
The elected candidate should receive more than half of the votes of attending MPs. If two or more candidates meet the requirement, then the candidate with the most votes is elected. If the votes are equal, a new procedure is opened.
