Bulgaria is ready to share experience and good practices in the field of security with Ghana, as transpired at a meeting between Bulgarian Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and Ghanaian Minister of National Security Albert Kan-Dapaah, the Council of Ministers said on Facebook Tuesday. Kan-Dapaah is visiting Sofia at the invitation of Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov.
The purpose of the visit is to exchange views and discuss joint initiatives in security and other fields of mutual interest.
At the meeting, Denkov pointed out that relations with Africa are becoming increasingly important for the EU in strategic terms. In this respect, the Prime Minister highlighted Bulgaria’s active role in shaping the EU's Common Foreign and Security Policy regarding Africa.
Denkov reiterated this country's commitment to Ghana's security, including at the European level.
