Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) Co-Floor Leader Hristo Ivanov urged people to vote after exercising his own right to vote in Sofia. "Although the machine voting was abolished without substantive arguments, we should not allow this to demotivate people. You have to vote with machines or without, with paper - go out and vote," he said.
Ivanov said the right to vote is the most powerful tool to ensure that Bulgaria continues to develop along a European, democratic path, along the path of reforms, a path that is without alternative.
His expectations are for a strong vote in support of the direction of the country's development. "If we want "simpler" majorities, we should go out to vote," he added.
The achievement of "machine voting" must be defended, he said, pointing out that the paper ballot provides opportunities for manipulation and errors.
