site.btaBulgaria Air Cancels October 15 Flight to, from Tel Aviv

Bulgaria Air has cancelled its FB 571/574 flight on the Sofia - Tel Aviv - Sofia regular route, scheduled to take off at 8:30 p.m. from Bulgaria and land back from Israel at 11:45 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, the national flagcarrier said in a press release on Friday.

"The cancellation of the flights is the result of force majeure and for reasons beyond the control of the airline, arising in the complicated international situation in view of the deepening military conflict in the country," the press release reads.

"The airline apologizes to the passengers of the affected flights and assures them that it is constantly monitoring the changes in the situation and updating the possibilities for the resumption of flights to/from Israel on its scheduled services," Bulgaria Air said.

It is offering a free exchange on all tickets purchased for travel to and from Tel Aviv until the end of October. The newly issued tickets must be used within one year.
