Bulgaria's parliamentary Budget and Finance Committee on Thursday voted, 13-4 with no abstentions, to approve an investment expenditure project for the acquisition of 198 combat and service vehicles needed for the formation of mechanized-battalion-size battlegroups. The draft resolution was tabled by the Council of Ministers on September 21.

The parliamentary Defence Committee approved the project on Wednesday.
