Thursday's sitting of Parliament here started with a declaration by the There Is Such a People (TISP) party, whose floor leader Toshko Yordanov ripped up the resolution adopted by the Legislature Wednesday in connection with an agreement concluded between Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov, cabinet members, MPs and representatives of energy sector trade unions. Yordanov said that the resolution is senseless.

According to the agenda, MPs will review on first reading a bill amending and supplementing the Administration Act, second reading amendments to the Public Procurements Act, the Biodiversity Act and the Energy Act.

The agenda also includes second reading amendments to the Act on Protection of Persons Submitting Alerts or Disclosing Information to the Public.

MPs rejected BSP for Bulgaria's proposal to include as the first item on the agenda a draft resolution obliging the Government to approve the new territorial plans for just energy transition. The Socialist MPs left soon after.
