site.btaAI Should Be Treated as Another Tool for Teachers to Improve Education - Deputy Education Minister

The eleventh edition of a national conference on "Innovative solutions for integrating information technologies in Bulgarian education" opened in Sofia Tuesday. In her opening remarks, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Natalia Miteva said that artificial intelligence should be looked at as another tool in the hands of teachers to improve education.

Held at Sofia University, the forum is organized by Classbuddy, Nimero and the Faculty of Education and Art Sciences at Sofia University, with the support of Huawei, Photon and the Centre for Creative Learning. 

Miteva talked about the opportunities for using AI in Bulgarian education and what lies ahead. "We have a need to introduce many tools, including AI-based ones, to improve and personalize teaching. We also need to develop our teaching skills for a future in which AI will be a big part of everyday lives." MORE
