The Mountain Rescue Services told BTA that the weather conditions in mountains will be poor on Tuesday and advises against hiking at high altitudes.
There are scattered showers in the Balkan Range and Rila mountain, the weather is windy and foggy. Temperatures have dropped sharply compared to Monday, down to freezing at high altitudes at around 2,000 metres above sea level, the MRS said.
