site.btaCC-DB PM Designate Nikolay Denkov: GERB Wishes to Include More of Their Ministers in Cabinet

There is a desire from GERB to include other of their ministers (besides Maria Gabriel) in the cabinet, but we have certain rules, said CC-DB PM designate Nikolay Denkov Thursday. "We have agreed that this list will be voted by us", he stressed, adding that the names must be confirmed by both sides, including in case of changes. 

Asked whether, after receiving the second exploratory government-forming mandate from the president, he would immediately return the folder with the structure and composition of the Council of Ministers, Denkov said it depended on when the mandate would be handed over.

Denkov assured that the negotiations were proceeding normally and when everything was ready and the names were completely clear, a cabinet would be presented to the public. He said the list has to go through the national councils which will happen in the coming days.

The Executive Committee of the Democrats for Strong Bulgaria (DSB) is expected to meet tonight, said DSB chairman Atanas Atanasov. "We will meet the expectations of the vast majority of the Bulgarian population to make efforts to have a government, we will do it", he said.
