On Wednesday, the MPs voted at first reading on changes to the Medical-Treatment Facilities Act, which give the Minister of Health the statutory opportunity to finance activities in regional multi-specialty hospitals. The bill was voted unanimously with 180 votes in favour. The changes provide a legal possibility to subsidize regional multi-specialty hospitals for active treatment.
