At its weekly meeting on Wednesday, the Council of Ministers approved the promotion of Bulgaria's candidacy for the chairmanship of COP 29 under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in 2024. The Environment and Water Minister, as deputy head of the country's delegation to COP 27 in Egypt from November 7 to 18, 2022, is tasked to take action to promote the candidacy of the Republic of Bulgaria.
