On Monday, the Primary Court of Ohrid has once again adjourned the trial for the assault on Hristian Pendikov, former secretary of the now-deregistered King Boris III Association in Ohrid.

During Monday's hearing, the prosecution and defence were expected to present their final arguments regarding the two defendants, Ilija Spaseski and Borce Angelov. However, before proceedings could begin, prosecutor Viktorija Kovacevska requested a revision of the charges, specifically to remove the mention of brass knuckles as a weapon used in the attack. This prompted defence attorney Dimitrija Coboski to request an adjournment to review the amended indictment.

Hristian Pendikov was severely beaten on the evening of January 19, 2023, outside a restaurant in Ohrid. According to the charges, he suffered serious bodily harm due to ethnic hatred.

The next hearing is scheduled to take place on March 5.
