In a press release on Friday, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry advised Bulgarians in Serbia to avoid places with large crowds due to the ongoing protests in the country.
In connection with the ongoing protests in Serbia, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry informs that incidents are possible, including risk to the life and health of citizens in the immediate vicinity of the locations blocked by the protesters. Most higher education institutions have suspended classes; protests are often organized near university buildings, at key intersections in the centre of Belgrade and across Serbia.
Bulgarian citizens are advised to avoid places with large crowds and to follow the instructions of local authorities and law enforcement agencies.
