Bulgaria is closely monitoring what is happening in the Middle East, including the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and the release of hostages, the Foreign Ministry told BTA in response to a query regarding the names of four Israeli hostages announced by Hamas, who will be released on Saturday.

This country has consistently called for the release of all hostages and is making efforts, within its capabilities, to make this happen, the Foreign Ministry added, expressing hope that the process will go smoothly, and that the phases of the agreement will be implemented in their entirety.

Hamas' military wing has announced the names of four Israeli hostages who will be released on Saturday under a ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Islamist movement in the Gaza Strip, Reuters reported earlier.
