An official delegation, led by Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) Chairman Dzhevdet Chakarov has held a number of important meetings in the Republic of Turkiye, the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms Coalition said, which is the successor of the MRF faction headed by Chakarov and supporting the party's Honorary Chairman Ahmed Dogan. The other faction is headed by MRF's other Chairman, Delyan Peevski, which will run in the upcoming elections as the MRF - New Beginning.

Chakarov held talks with the long-standing Chairman  of the Nationalist Movement Party, Devlet Bahçeli, with Müşavat Dervisoglu - leader of the Good Party, as well as with Republican People's Party Ozgur Ozel.

Chakarov and the members of the MRF delegation presented the current political situation in Bulgaria. The topics raised by the Bulgarian delegation were related to the preservation of democracy and statehood in Bulgaria. At the meetings, the need for parties with democratic principles was emphasized as a condition for sustainable governance. For their part, the leaders of the parties in Turkiye called on the Bulgarian citizens in that country to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

At the meetings, the parties united around the common responsibility to preserve the fruitful long-standing undertakings, as well as to support the efforts to develop good neighbourly relations. 

On the first day, the MRF delegates held a meeting with AK Parti Deputy Chair Zafer Sarikaya at the party's headquarters in Ankara.
