site.btaPM Borissov to Take Part in Special European Council Meeting Focused on Brexit

November 24 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov will
take part in the special meeting of the European Council
(Article 50) this Sunday in Brussels, Cabinet's press service
reported Saturday. EU state and government leaders will meet to
discuss the draft Brexit withdrawal agreement and approve the
draft political declaration on future EU-UK relations.

The draft agreement corresponds to Bulgaria's interests, as it
guarantees maximum continuity and consistency in a number of
areas of importance to this country. It allows for the prompt
adaptation to the new mode of relations, which guarantees
respect for citizens' rights, Bulgaria's financial interests,
and averts voids in relations, which could impact negatively the
economic, transport, social, cultural, educational and other
ties, Cabinet's press release said. RI/MY
