with Drug Possession,
Distribution in Sofia and Bourgas


Sofia, November 28 (BTA) - The prosecuting magistracy said Wednesday that it has pressed charges against eight persons from Sofia and the coastal city of Bourgas for their alleged involvement in a drug dealing ring. The suspects were arrested in a police operation on Tuesday.

Seven are in custody, while the eighth one is released on bail and banned from leaving the country. Among those charged are members of the Levski football fan club in Bourgas.

The investigation has established that the group was formed in February and distributed mainly cannabis in Bourgas and cocaine in Sofia. LI/MY
