In an interview for BTA, Albanian telegraphic agency (ATA)'s Director General, Armela Krasniqi, talks about the latest development of the Agency she runs.
This year AT has been growing rapidly, Ms. Krasniqi said, I'm not sure if the number of our readers will be tripled again next year, but I certainly hope so.
We are implementing new technologies and trying to use more video, because video is faster and more attractive to our public, so we hope we will not disappoint our readers, as ATA is a brand in Albania, Ms. Krasniqi added.
She also told BTA about the struggle of ATA to rid of fake news and ghost portals, and Albanian government's intention to pass a package of bills for media regulation, without infringing freedom of speech.
