Sofia, January 2 (BTA) - At its regular meeting on Wednesday, the Council of Ministers adopted the following decisions as reported by the Government Information Service:

-- approved Lora Gourmeva as member of the Transparency Commission under the Medicinal Products in Human Medicine Act. Gourmeva will take up Tsvetozar Mladenov's position as Bulgarian Medical Association representative. Vanya Toneva will take up Vanya Ilieva's position as National Health Insurance Fund representative. Tsvetozar Mladenov is proposed for Neli Tarinska's position as Health Ministry representative in the commission.

-- changed the status of the Consulate of the Czech Republic in the coastal city of Varna to an Honorary Consulate General, and appointed its Head of Mission, Zdenka Boevova, Honorary Consul.

-- amended the Procedure Code of the Customs Agency, the Classification of administrative posts and its implementation regulations. The Customs Agency will be part of the Central Customs Directorate (CCD) and of regional directorates. Two head directorates will be set up with the CCD, the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate and the Information Systems and Analytics Directorate.

-- approved a draft memorandum of understanding between the Bulgarian and American governments for restrictions on importing archaeological and ethnological materials from Bulgaria. RY/TH
