Works by iconic Spanish artists will be showcased in an exhibition titled "Spanish Passion: Colours and Shadows" at Gallery Rivoli in Sofia. It is curated by art historian Bisera Yosifova, Executive Director of the 13 Centuries of Bulgaria National Endowment Fund. The preview will take place on April 24, the organizers said.
"Spain, a land of light and mystery, of expression and depth, has inspired generations of artists who, through colour and form, tell stories of love, rebellion, dreams and reality," the team says. The exhibition features works by Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró and Miguel Ibarz, as well as pieces by contemporary Spanish artists Freda People (artist brothers Javier and David Salvador), Mikko, Daniel Jonez, Bruto, Antonio Gacia and Alberto Ricardo, among others.
