site.btaRoad Infrastructure Agency Publishes Crash Hotspot Map

The Road Infrastructure Agency Friday published on its website a road map of Bulgaria showing the spots with high frequency of car accidents. The Agency said in an announcement that they have also adopted an action plan for making these areas safer and it will be updated on a weekly basis. 

Every month, the Chair of the Road Infrastructure Agency Managing Board will prepare a report and present it to the Regional Development Minister.

The authorities announced on April 8 that they are beginning work to improve the safety on 36 critical roads with the aim of lowering by 20% the number of road accident casualties and injured people.
