The motives for the second vote of no confidence in the government was wrongly chosen, BSP-United Left floor leader Dragomir Stoynev told journalists in Parliament.

Earlier on Thursday, Morality, Unity, Honour (MECh) submitted a request for a second vote of no confidence in the Zhelyazkov cabinet - for corruption in various areas.

“Political ethics and culture demand that in a normal European country a government should have a tolerance of 100 days, the MP reminded. Some people want to live in chaos, but the chaos is over, we have a stable government that will solve the problems of the citizens,” Stoynev said.

MECh, Vazrazhdane, and Velichie, who initiated the no-confidence motion, know that the vote will not pass, the MP stressed, adding that they are trying to sabotage the work of the National Assembly and waste time in empty talks.

In his words, there is no way the current government can be responsible for practices that started before it.
