Bulgaria was presented as an attractive destination for health tourism during the 50th edition of the BVMW exhibition, held on April 9 in Berlin, the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism said here on Thursday.

Der Mittelstand. BVMW e. V. is a platform uniting small and medium-sized businesses in Germany, and its exhibition is a significant event for presenting new opportunities for cooperation and development. The Bulgarian exhibition stand, initiated by the trade representative in Germany, Rositsa Ivanova, presented the diverse opportunities that Bulgaria offers in the field of balneology, SPA and wellness tourism.

Ivanova introduced the German representatives to the advantages of Bulgaria as a year-round destination for recovery and rehabilitation, emphasizing its rich natural heritage, high-quality medical and recreational centres, and balneotherapy traditions.

Bulgaria's participation in such prestigious forums positions the country as a preferred destination for year-round health tourism, the Union pointed out.
